박스셋트 관련 공식 홈페이지에 따르면, 한정판으로 나온 이 90CD짜리 (88장+2장의 보너스CD) 박스셋트는 요요마가 참여한 모든 음반을 오리지널 자켓(미니버전)과 함께 싣고 있고 사진들과 에세이들, 모든 트랙리스트와 오리지널 라이너 노트(곡목해설같은 것)까지 모두 실린 책자가 함께 들어있습니다. 그리고 요요 마의 친구들과 동료들로부터의 축하 메세지들도 함께 실려있구요.
수십장의 CD를 모아 염가;;로 발매하는 대세를 따르지않은 고가의 박스셋트라...

Yo-Yo Ma: 30 Years Outside the Box, a deluxe limited-numbered box set of Yo-Yo Ma's recorded legacy, celebrates his 30th Anniversary recording with Sony Music.
Created with the full participation of Yo-Yo Ma and comprised of 88 discs of original album releases (entirely remastered with DSD technology) and an additional two discs of bonus material, 30 Years Outside the Box is the definitive collection of this iconic artist in a presentation as beautiful and timeless as the music itself
- All discs will be presented in original jacket-style mini jackets housed in a beautifully designed, velvet-lined box.
- The box set includes a large hard-bound book with archival photos, essays, full track lists, orginial liner notes, and credits. The book also contains a foreword by longtime Yo-Yo Ma collaborator and Grammy © winning pianist Emanuel Ax.
- The book's main essay, by noted music journalist Richard Dyer, focuses on Mr. Ma's multifaceted, boundary defying career and his place as a cultural figure known throughout the world.
- There will also be a congratulatory messages from many of Yo-Yo Ma's friends and colleagues and short bios of the guest artists.
